Honestly, all five of my kids are smitten with this watch!  Our kids range in age from 6 to 15 and none have their own cell phone yet.  We’ve been debating on what our next step should be because our 15 year old has her farm license and our 13 year old heads out to drive tractor.  The Fennec Smartwatch has been the perfect compromise!  It allows our kids to be connected, yet protects them from the dangers of the internet and social media!

While all of our kids have had a chance to use the Fennec Kids Smartwatch, our main tester has been Alex, our 10 year old son.  This is his point of view and mini review.

I think this watch is really cool!  I love the games.  They are challenging and fun.  I like that it’s like a phone and I can call other people but it’s also like a watch and I can wear it too. The band is really comfortable and I enjoy wearing it.  The camera is also really cool because it lets me take pictures and videos.  I love everything about this watch!

My Final Thoughts – Fennec Kids Smartwatch Review

The process of setting up our watch to do this Fennec Kids Smartwatch Review was actually really easy.  I just followed the step-by-step directions and it took very little time at all.

Once all the steps were completed, I connected my phone to the watch and we were good to go.

We’ve been using this kid’s smartwatch for a bit now and the kids really like it.  They enjoy knowing they are able to get in touch with us if they’d need to.  Plus, it’s just fun having a ‘cool’ smartwatch!   I also love that it allows me to set limitations if needed.  Parents can control the distractions of text, calls, and games by simply turning on ‘Time Restriction’.  The phone calling, instant messaging, and gaming features on the watch will then be disabled during configured times.

Overall, we are really liking the Fennec Watch One so far.  The only negative we’ve seen to date is the fact that games drain the battery fast.  However, they do suggest to have the phone charging while playing to avoid that issue.
