Mombo Breastfeeding Pillow Review

I was provided a Mombo breastfeeding pillow at no cost to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

I’m currently breastfeeding my second child. There are a few breastfeeding essentials I’ve learned I can’t live without and one of those is a nursing pillow.  Between breastfeeding my older daughter and now my son, I have now tried out 5 different nursing pillows over the past 2 years, the 5th being the brand new Mombo from Comfort and Harmony. Each of them has different features that make them unique, and the Mombo is no exception!

Mombo Breastfeeding Pillow

Mombo has a unique shape and a two-sided design called Firm2Soft™, with each side offering a different experience. The firm side gives essential support for mommy and her nursing baby. The soft side is extra cozy—an inviting place for lounging or tummy time. And mombo is the only nursing pillow with a vibration feature, to give baby the ultimate soothing experience while lounging. Look for mombo’s assortment of pillow styles and slipcover fashions. Select your style from Standard, Deluxe or Nude™. Then choose multiple slipcover fashions so you’ll always have a spare!

I love that this pillow has 2 sides–one for baby and one for mom. I think most moms do use their breastfeeding pillows for feeding and for lying their babies on, so this was a great idea!

The pillow also comes with a removable vibrator to soothe fussy babies. I LOVE this! Not only do we use it with the pillow, but we’ve taken it out and used it to make other baby products vibrate. For example, we have a Bright Starts swing that we use a lot. We are able to tuck the vibrator up underneath the fabric (at the bottom where his feet rest) to give him vibration while he swings. Jacob loves that–so we love it too! He’s suffered from colic, so anything that helps to keep him happy makes me happy!

Lastly, I LOVE that this pillow comes with a slipcover! When you have so many baby gear items to buy already for a new baby, it’s nice that this pillow comes with a cover–not one you’re going to have to buy separately. BUT, they DO offer other slipcovers that you can purchase separately if you’d like to change it up, have an extra one for laundry day, or if you have a baby a year or so down the road that is the opposite gender. Some slipcovers even have taggies on them! If for some reason you prefer a pillow without a cover, they do offer the Mombo Nude pillow.

Oh, and make sure you keep the bag that your pillow comes in! It is great for storage between babies or as a nice travel case!

The Mombo by Comfort and Harmony is available at Babies-R-Us and Toys-R-Us in a variety of fun prints! You can also find it at Amazon.com.
