If you have indoor cats, this post is for you! Hi, my name is Holly, and I have four indoor pets. My husband and I have always loved animals. He is more of a dog person, and I am more of a cat person, so together, we have two dogs and two cats (well… and two children, but that’s not what this post is about).

Another thing you should know about me, besides my love for animals, is that I like a clean house and white furniture. Doesn’t seem like a good mix, am I right? So thank goodness for all the robotic development these days, to help me achieve a clean house and still adore my pets! From an iRobot Vacuum to a Whisker Litter-Robot 4, I don’t know what I would do without these items.

Whisker Litter-Robot 4 Review

If you have indoor cats, YOU NEED A WHISKER LITTER-ROBOT 4! Run, do not walk to get this handy appliance. I promise you will thank me later. I have done the cheap plastic litter pan. Scooping it out each day so that it won’t smell, cleaning up the litter that gets kicked out of the tray by my cats, cleaning up messes when they don’t quite hit inside the litter box, and getting eventually so frustrated with how disgusting it gets, that I take the whole thing and throw it in the trash and purchase a new one. Well, I am here to say that all those issues I just listed have disappeared with the Whisker Litter-Robot 4!

The Globe

This cat litter box dome features a wide opening to maximize cat comfort and provide a clean litter box for up to four cats of any breed or size. With this ingenious design, you no longer have to worry about your cat’s bodily fluids spewing over the side of the litter box or litter flying everywhere while they are sifting for a place to do their business. Plus, it has mini dome lights for at night!

Safety Sensors

Litter-Robot was designed with your cat’s safety in mind. If your cat tries to enter the globe while it’s rotating, the Litter-Robot will stop immediately. Litter-Robot 4 features enhanced safety technology, known as the SafeCat System with OmniSense Detection, that uses lasers to continuously analyze four safety zones, weight sensors, and anti-pinch software for enhanced cat detection.

Pet Monitoring

Track your cat’s weight with SmartScale, follow their bathroom usage, and get waste level alerts. Can your current litter box do that? If you have multiple cats, the Whisker Litter-Robot 4 can detect which of your pets are using the bathroom. How crazy is that!? My oldest cat, Chewi (that is his name), had a problem with his urine crystalizing. He was in and out of the litter box every few minutes straining to go. Had I had a Litter-Robot at the time, it would have been much easier to diagnose his problem immediately.

Self-Cleaning

Let’s get to the BEST part! The Litter-Robot 4 is a SELF-CLEANING system! Can I get an AMEN?! After your pet has expelled waste and exits the litter robot globe, the system starts a cleaning cycle just a couple of minutes later. This system sifts out waste after every use so you never have to scoop again. Plus, this means your cat will have a clean box for the next time they need to use the bathroom.

Odor Control

The Whisker Litter-Robot 4 features an optional OdorTrap System designed to neutralize litter box odors. This system uses a combination of a sealed waste drawer and carbon filter to reduce unwanted smells. You can opt to replace the carbon filter with OdorTrap Packs to eliminate litter box odors through natural chemistry. Most users suggest that Litter-Robot drastically reduces and or even eliminates litter box odors. I can testify this is true. My Litter-Robot is placed in a central space in my home and I rarely get a scent of ‘litter box’. I would say the only time I can smell my cat’s litter box is when I need to empty the full waste drawer.
