UNLIMITED SQUIRRELS: Who is the Mystery Reader? Giveaway!

Sharing is caring!

Disney Book Group sent me a copy to check out and is partnering with me for a giveaway!

Has your family discovered Mo Willems yet? We read a TON of books at our house. In fact, you’ll find us at the library weekly and our librarian is usually waiting for us with a huge stack of books we had placed on hold. One author that all of my children enjoy is Mo Willems and he has just released a brand new book in his UNLIMITED SQUIRRELS series: Who is the Mystery Reader?.

From Mo Willems, creator of the revolutionary, award-winning, best-selling Elephant & Piggie books, comes this breakout beginning-reader series. An ensemble cast of Squirrels, Acorns, and pop-in guests host a page-turning extravaganza. Each book features a funny, furry adventure AND bonus jokes, quirky quizzes, nutty facts, and so, so many Squirrels.

Unlike any beginning-reader series on the market, UNLIMITED SQUIRRELS combines hilarious narrative stories with surprising nonfiction content. There’s something for everyone to scurry over!

UNLIMITED SQUIRRELS addresses a range of physical, emotional, and social development markers. These high-interest subjects act to engage kids in the overall reading experience while also providing caregivers and educators with humorous and relatable conversation starters.

About UNLIMITED SQUIRRELS: Who is the Mystery Reader?

In Who is the Mystery Reader?, Zoom Squirrel tries out a new superpower with help from a mysterious Mystery Reader. But will the Squirrel pals ever find out who the real Mystery Reader is? Do you know more about reading than the Squirrels do? You will by the end of this book!

About Mo Willems

A number-one New York Times best-selling author and illustrator, Mo Willems has been awarded a Caldecott Honor on three occasions (for Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!, Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale, and Knuffle Bunny Too: A Case of Mistaken Identity). Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! was also an inaugural inductee into the Indies Choice Picture Book Hall of Fame. Mo’s celebrated Elephant & Piggie early-reader series has been awarded two Theodor Seuss Geisel Medals (for There Is a Bird on Your Head! and Are You Ready to Play Outside?) and five Geisel Honors (for We Are in a Book!, I Broke My Trunk!, Let’s Go for a Drive!, A Big Guy Took My Ball!, and Waiting Is Not Easy!). In 2019, the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC named Mo the first-ever Education Artist-in-Residence. Mo began his career as a writer and animator on Sesame Street, where he garnered six Emmy Awards.

What My Kids Thought Of This New Book

Well, not surprisingly, they loved it! Mo Willems books always result in a lot of laughter in our home and this one was no exception! Jacob is my beginning reader and he has really enjoyed the book. He frequently takes it to bed with him at night to read.

Look for it in stores or place it on hold at your local library! It won’t disappoint!

I pressed "enter" too quickly and accidentally entered the wrong twitter name in rafflecopter. It should be @yarbr012
