The BEST Way to Polish and Shine Your Stainless Steel Appliances

When I first started using the stainless steel wipes, I found something interesting to note. Compared to the original Tub O’ Towels wipes which I use quite a bit, the Stainless Steel Wipes felt somewhat “dry”. As I continued to scrub the appliance surface, it felt as if more of the cleaning agents were released. After speaking with the people at Tub O’ Towels I learned that this is actually completely normal for this product to feel dry initially and it is working exactly as intended! Unlike most wipes on the market, the Tub O’ Towels stainless steel wipes are oil based instead of water based, which is why they feel dry upon removal from the container.  The oil helps to polish, shine, and protect your stainless steel!

Another tip I found when using the stainless steel wipes; I would thoroughly clean the stainless steel of all the smudges and prints with one wipe and then follow that up with a fresh wipe to ensure that all the grease and grime are fully removed from the surface and a beautiful clean shine is left.  Of course, if you don’t have 5 little kids constantly wiping dirty fingers all over your appliances, one wipe might be sufficient for you, haha!

You might notice something different about my kitchen from the photo above on the Target website. Yes, we are painting our cabinets. It has been quite the monumental DIY home improvement project and has taken us much longer than expected. However, slowly but surely we are getting it done! The look SO much better once cleaned! I love the way the Tub O’ Towel wipes really make them sparkle. Everyone cautioned me against stainles steel appliances with so many young children, but honestly having good wipes like these makes it no big deal. The handprints and other smudges are gone so quickly and easily and I LOVE the way stainless steel looks!

I’ve also come to realize that the Tub O’ Towels Stainless Steel Wipes work great to polish the faucets in our bathrooms and kitchen. They make them look so shiny and clean – I love it! 

Tub O’ Towels Granite & Marble Wipes

After finishing our kitchen cabinet painting project I would love to upgrade to granite countertops…but we aren’t ready for those quite yet. Sadly that means no granite or marble at our home, but I was excited to find out that the Tub O’ Towels Granite & Marble Wipes are also perfect for use on tile and porcelain. Now I keep a container in our bathroom for quick clean-up jobs in there. They work great on our tile floor and tile shower and also for cleaning up makeup, toothpaste, and all the other messes that collect on my porcelain sink. 

I had no idea that regular cleaners can leave a film on granite and marble countertops. Now that I know that, when we DO finally upgrade to granite counters, I’ll be sticking with Tub O’ Towels Granite & Marble Wipes for sure! They’ve received great reviews!
