Three Meat Million Dollar Spaghetti Recipe
There are so many things to love about this casserole but a big one is that it’s a crowd pleaser! Whether I’m feeding my own family of seven or looking for a potluck dish, this Three Meat Million Dollar Spaghetti Recipe is always a winner.
Ingredients:
- 16 ounces spaghetti noodles
- 1 large onion, diced
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 2 (24 ounce) jars of spaghetti sauce
- 8 ounces cottage cheese
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- pepperoni slices
- cooked sausages (like the kind you put on pizzas)
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- garlic salt
Directions:
- Preheat: Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Boil Water: Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add spaghetti noodles and cook according to package directions. Drain well but do NOT rinse. Return noodles back to pot. Add 1 jar of spaghetti sauce and mix well. Set aside.
- Prepare Meat: In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic and cook until soft and fragrant; about 2 minutes. Add ground beef and 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning and brown until thoroughly cooked. Once no pink is left, drain any grease and add 1 jar of spaghetti sauce. Mix well.
- White Sauce Prep: In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, and 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning. Beat with a mixer until fully combined. Then stir in 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Set aside.
- Prep Pan: Coat a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Add Pasta: Pour pot of spaghetti noodles into pan.
- Top: Pour white sauce mixture over the top and spread evenly to coat entire pan.
- Add Sauce: Pour meat mixture over white sauce and spread to cover.
- Sprinkle Cheese: Top with remaining shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Add Meats: Sprinkle the sausages and pepperoni slices over the top.
- Season: Sprinkle a thin layer of garlic sauce over the top.
- Bake: Place pan in the oven and bake for 35-45 minutes or till cheese is melted and bubbly and casserole is heated all throughout.
- Serve: Immediately serve hot from the oven.
Photos Along The Way
Start by cooking the noodles according to the package. (Personally, I prefer to stay about a minute under since the casserole will be baked as well and I don’t like mushy noodles.) Once drained, return noodles to the pot and add one jar of spaghetti sauce; stir to coat.
As the noodles are cooking, I work on my meat sauce mixture.
Then I prepare the white sauce by beating all ingredients together in a bowl.
Now it’s time to start layering. After spraying a pan with non-stick cooking spray, evenly spread pasta on bottom.
Spread the white sauce as evenly as possible over the top.
Pour meat sauce mixture over the top and spread until covering entire pan.
Sprinkle shredded cheese over top.
Finish your Three Meat Million Dollar Spaghetti Recipe by topping with sausages, pepperoni slices, and a sprinkle of garlic salt.
Pop your casserole in the oven to bake.
Once fully baked, remove from oven.
Serve immediately!

I made this last night for my mom and I. We have a ton of leftovers! It was sooooooo good! I used ground beef and sausage only and made less layers. Delish!
