As a mom of 7, I’ve been a part of the baby scene now for the past 14 years! Every single year since 2009 I have either been pregnant or have a baby under a year old. Collectively I have been breastfeeding for over 8 years too!
No, I am not currently pregnant – Matthias just turned a year old and he’s still breastfeeding a lot! I do have a lot of pregnant friends right now. In fact, I’m throwing a baby shower next weekend for 3 ladies from our church who are all due before the end of the year. One of my best friends is also due early next year.
Since I’m often asked about the newest and must-have baby items on the market I wanted to take a little bit of time to share my favorite picks for 2024.
These are the baby products I’m personally currently loving! Many of them are ones I used with Matthias this past year, others are brand-new products that I’m excited to see coming onto the market.
Coolest Baby Products for Your 2024 Baby
If you're having a baby in 2024, these are the can't miss, must have products you need!

This adorable one-piece outfit for baby is made from 100% organic cotton. The soft cashmere will feel so soft against baby's skin and the buttons add such an adorable touch. It features snaps along the crotch for easy diaper changes plus it's machine washable. This is one of those outfits you'll put on your baby over and over again!
I'm loving this infant car seat from Peg Perego! Why? Well, I have used quite a few different infant car seats over the years and this one has some fabulous features like no-rethread straps, a super easy-to-install base, adjustable side-impact protection, European belt path (better seat belt installation), and premium fabrics.
Your baby must have a cotton muslin blanket from Little Unicorn! I absolutely LOVE all of my muslin blankets from them!
Little Unicorn quilted throws are extra large, making them perfect to wrap up baby on cold nights or spread on the floor for a clean play space. I even love having these around to use myself when curling up on the couch.
This particular pattern is called "Meadow" but they have so many great ones to choose from!
These blankets get softer with every wash - you're gonna love it!
I thought swaddling was overrated with my first two babies. Then I decided to give it a try with my 3rd and I've been doing it ever since! It helps SO MUCH with the startle reflex that they all have. Instead of waking up when you lay them down to sleep, the swaddle helps them to feel snug and secure and keep sleeping.
These organic baby swaddles from Keababies are soft, and just what you need! They have multiple color options to choose from, including this set that's perfectly gender-neutral.
If you use my code ThriftyNifty you save $10 on your first order!
It seamlessly transforms from rear-facing harness (4-40 lb) to forward-facing harness (22-65 lb) to highback booster (40-100 lb) to backless booster (40-120 lb) to seat belt trainer (50-120 lb).
I'm currently using this seat as a rear-facing harness seat for my 3-year-old AND using the seat belt trainer with my 11-year-old. I can't say enough good things about it!
This car seat is 10% slimmer than the 4Ever DLX (compared at cup holders) saving space in the backseat with plenty of room to grow it also installs in less than a minute with SnugLock® technology!
And, I've saved the best feature for last - it has Graco's Rapid Remove machine-washable cover. That means you can remove it in 60 seconds, without uninstalling the seat! This feature is a game-changer! Believe it or not, I had to wash the cover the very first time my son rode in it (yes, I'm serious - potty training is so fun, ha ha) and it was SO easy to do!
Whether you give your baby breastmilk, formula, or a combination of the two, you're going to need a few burp cloths. Some of my babies have spit up more than others, but all of them have spit up pretty consistently for the first few months.
I love the shape of the burp clothes from Little Unicorn. They fit perfectly over a shoulder plus they are super absorbant and soft thanks to the cotton muslin.
There are so many great patterns and colors to choose from. This set is Floral Field + Driftwood.
A first rattle is a must for any new baby and this adorable elephant rattle is simply irresistible!
Not only are these rattles perfectly shaped for small hands to grasp, it also has a stimulating rattle sound. Made with soft fabrics and unique prints, the Lullaby Friends Rattles are packed in a beautiful gift box, perfect for giving.
For anyone with hard floors (like me) Cushmat foam mats are a must! This gives your baby a softer surface to play, crawl and fall (which sadly is eventually going to happen many times as they learn to walk).
Cushmats are large (78"x55"), wipeable, and reversible, featuring two different fun prints! You'll want to get a few for multiple rooms!
I first experienced a Kyte product last year at Christmas when I received some of their pajamas and WOW! All I can say is that the fabric is SO soft and cozy. Those are my favorite pair of pajamas! Ever!
Because of that, naturally, I had to add their zippered footies and matching hats to this list.
Your baby will be adorable AND cozy! These sleepers are made from 97% Bamboo Rayon and 3% Spandex. They feature a double zipper for easy diaper changes. It comes in tons of different colors and prints - you're going to want to order a few!
And don't forget a matching hat for Instagram-worthy pictures and, of course, keeping baby warm.
This year I tried out a new brand of diapers - Freestyle Diapers - and I have really loved them! I especially love that you can subscribe and get them delivered right to your door! They have really cute prints too. They also have wipes!
The ultimate gift set, any new mom will love this ribbed gift set that includes a matching sleeper, blanket, and hat, all inside a reusable ribbed bag! It's available in a gender-neutral oat color, blue, and mauve.
Don't forget you can save 10% off of your first order at Feltman Brothers using the code "Welcome10".
As a mom of 7, I learned pretty early on that babies don't really NEED shoes until they start walking (and even then, they don't need them at home). It's much better for their development to go barefoot as much as possible.
However, once walking begins, they are going to need shoes when you leave your house. I love these shoes from Stonz because they feature grippy heels while still being soft and flexible for growing feet and offer support to their little ankles. The stretchy elastic bands make them easy to get on even the wiggliest baby.
Having a sick baby is just horrible. No one wants that. Sickness often seems to come out of nowhere, and I have learned over the years that it's best to have medicine already in my cupboard before my baby gets sick.
I love Mommy's Bliss medicines for my babies because they are organic. The ingredients are all things I can actually pronounce and best of all, they really work!
Baby's usually go through a lot of bodysuits! Young Eden has some adorable bodysuits, like this cute sloth one! Not only are they cute, they are made from 100% organic cotton using non-toxic, water-based inks. They are available in sizes ranging from newborn all the way up to 18 months.
Which of these baby products are your favorites? Have you tried any of these?
