Skillet Lasagna Recipe Ingredients

1 Pound Ground Beef: You can also choose to substitute ground turkey or ground sausage if you prefer.
1 Large Onion: If you don’t regularly cook with fresh onions, start! They add so much flavor. For this recipe, be sure to dice them into similar sized pieces for even cooking.
Seasonings: I always season my ground beef with seasoning salt, onion salt, garlic salt, and pepper. While I never measure exactly when I do this, it’s about 1/2 teaspoon of each.
30 Ounces Tomato Sauce: I’ve seen some people substitute marinara sauce in place of tomato sauce when they don’t have any tomato sauce on hand.
Brown Sugar: Tomato sauce can taste a bit acidic so adding just a bit of brown sugar is a great way to add balance and sweetness to this recipe.
Italian Seasoning: Homemade Italian seasoning is amazing but I tend to lean on the convenience of store bought herbs.
Shredded Cheese: No lasagna, skillet or other, is complete without some delicious cheese on top!
Additional Garlic Salt And Italian Seasoning: These two spices offer the perfect garnish.
Pasta: Here’s where you can do some customization. Choose your favorite style pasta!

Well that is super easy. I keep cooked hamburger in my freezer as well. If I am going to trouble to brown one pound of meat, I might as well do two pounds and freeze one. I is so little effort to do that extra pound and it saves time and mess later.
