I’ve been a huge fan of SwimZip since their very beginning; almost 15 years ago now! Any mom knows what a struggle wet swimsuits are. When you add a squirmy toddler to the mix, it’s even harder. That’s why SwimZip’s fashionable, functional UPF 50+ sun protective swimwear is always a great choice and #1 in my book!
SwimZip: The Best Swimwear For Kids And Adults
SwimZip began with a simple, yet much needed idea…. a zipper on children’s swim tops. Over the years, they’ve expanded not only their sizes, but styles and options too. And I’m super excited to talk about their new NEON lineup today. Besides being fun and bright, the neon line features some of the safest swimsuit colors for visibility. (Be sure to use the discount code “THRIFTY20” to save when you buy all your SwimZip goodies!)
You may have seen the graphic floating around Facebook that shows what a child looks like in different colored suits. It’s CRAZY to me how, once underwater, it can be extremely difficult to see certain colors. So SwimZip designed their Neon Line to feature the safest colors for easier spotting.
So if you’re on the hunt for new suits that will help you see your family both in the water and out; check out the Neons! These vivid neons are a few of the best swimsuit colors for safety …and they are just too cute!
My Favorite Feature: The ZIPPER
As I mentioned above, I’ve been a fan of SwimZip literally from their very beginning. As soon as I had their very first rash guard, I fell in love. It’s just SO easy getting on and off a wet, squirmy kiddo! Even my older kids absolutely love them and prefer SwimZip over other brands.
As a mom to six kids, I also appreciate how affordable their swimwear options are. SwimZip runs some great sales throughout the year and if you keep an eye out, you’ll be able to snag a discount code. When the kids are younger, I find their Girls Rash Guard Sets and Boys Rash Guard Sets to be extremely cost effective options (especially when you add the 20% discount with the code THRIFTY20!)
Options For The Whole Family!
What I also appreciate about SwimZip is that they offer options for everyone in the family! From infant through adult, they have the perfect swimwear option for your needs.
I grabbed some new neons for several of us. My husband, son, and daughter, each got a new Neon classic SwimZip top. I snagged the high neck tankini top for myself. For our youngest daughter, we got the ruffle orange swimsuit and coordinating Shorties. Finally, for our foster son, the long-sleeve romper won as these were a favorite of mine with our other kiddos.
Final Thoughts
I can’t say enough good things about SwimZip. All of their swimwear uses the highest-rated UPF 50+ UV sun protective fabric so it offers top notch sun protection while also being comfortable and functional. I love that their styles are great for use in the sun as well as in the water. You’ll find our kids in their SwimZip at the park as well as the beach!

I am kind of embarrassed that I have never thought of this before! Of course, there are colors that you can't see under water, but for some reason it never occurred to me. I have always just bought cute swimsuits for my kids, usually in their favorite color. They are older now and know how to swim, but I'm still going to get them neon swimsuits next Summer.
