Life has been extra interesting the last couple of months. We now have two toddlers in our home, since the addition of our foster son back in February. It’s funny how different fostering feels this time. When we fostered several years ago, Lucy was 3 and adjusted pretty quickly. This time around, Ruby had just turned 2 and it’s been a world of difference! We’ve definitely had to deal with some jealousy (on both of the kids’ parts). Thankfully, the giggles and playing nicely together is happening more and more each day.
A Fun Toy For Toddlers
When it comes to toys, I have been trying to be more intentional about what comes into our home. I was recently taking stock as to what we could use, and I knew a Step2 Roller Coaster would be perfect. It’s something that helps keep busy kiddos entertained (without a screen I might add!). Plus, it can be used both indoors or out.

Assembly
There’s very little assembly required for the Step2 Sky Rider Up & Down Roller Coaster. The ‘airplane’ needed to have the wheels and handlebar attached. The rest of the pieces are the ramp, which all just sets together for use. (It’s made to be assembled and disassembled for easy moving and storing.)
Our Review
We LOVE this coaster! The learning curve is quick and simple. With just a few short instructions to lift feet and hold on tight; these kiddos had no problem learning how to ride.
The design is pretty ingenious. There’s a built-in step leading up to the platform. It’s not terribly far off the ground so if a child would lose their balance, the fall to the ground would be minimal.
The airplane coaster car is sturdy and well-made. The wings of the plane are the perfect place for the child to place their feet while zooming down the track.
Our toddlers seriously just want to ride this coaster over and over again. Their smiles and giggles are the perfect way to gauge how great a toy is and they are endless when we bring out the Step2 Sky Rider Up & Down Roller Coaster.

These Step2 Roller Coasters are the best! I love all the different styles and designs they've released over the years and my kids love them too. This plane is super cute!
