My kids LOVE Halloween. In fact, they love dressing up in costumes all year long. We tend to always keep our costumes because they dress up so often. Last year we moved right before Halloween and to be honest, getting new Halloween costumes just didn’t happen because we were so busy. They created their own costumes or reused ones we had kept from past years.
This year I wanted to make it up to them, so I reached out to Spooktacular Creations and they were able to send costumes for the whole family, including Orin and me! The kids are always begging us to dress up as well, so this year, we are!
Here’s what we picked out this year.
Killian – age 17 months – Cuddly Puppy Costume
Killian looked adorable in the cute, cuddly puppy costume! He is dressed in size 12-18 months, which is also the size clothing he is currently wearing.
Aram – age 3 – Brown T-Rex Costume
Aram was SO excited to find a dinosaur costume he could wear this Halloween. This costume also comes with a bonus dino egg. He and Killian have both enjoyed playing with the egg. We got his costume in size 3T (his regular size) and it fits him very well.
Gideon – age 5 – Prisoner Costume
Gideon just HAD to have this “robber” costume as he calls it. It comes with handcuffs and fake tattoo sleeves. He is quite pleased with his costume choice. We got this costume in size small and it fits him really well. He wears size 5T/5 clothing.
Zellene – Age 7 – Mermaid Costume
It was pretty hard for Zellene to choose which costume she wanted – there are so many great girly choices to choose from! Eventually, she decided on the mermaid costume and she loves it! In the photo the wig looks pinkish but rest assured, in person, it’s red just like Ariel’s hair. We got her costume in size small and it fits her very well. She’s currently wearing size 6/6x.
Jacob – Age 9 – George Washington Costume
My Jacob loves history! Initially he said he wanted to be a pirate this year for Halloween (Jack Sparrow to be exact), but when he saw this George Washington Costume he changed his mind quickly. He was SO excited! Of all of my kids, Jacob was definitely the most eager to get his costume and try it on. He is really looking forward to being George Washington this year for Halloween. He’s wearing a size medium which fits him very well.
Maggie – Age 11 – Peacock Costume
I wasn’t surprised when Maggie chose the Peacock costume. She loves animals and almost always chooses an animal costume of some kind. She is wearing size large.
Mom & Dad – Inflatable Ride-On Red Raptor Costume & Giant Inflatable Squid Costume
Last but not least, my husband and I chose 2 inflatable costumes this year. I thought our children would really enjoy seeing us in them and I was right! They are relatively easy to put on and a lot of fun to wear. Each costume does require batteries (4 AA for the Raptor, 8 AA for the Squid) but that’s all you need to do to keep it inflated. I can’t wait to walk around our neighborhood this Halloween!
We’re very pleased with the Halloween costumes we got from Spooktacular Creations! It’s going to be a fun Halloween for our family! Check out Spooktacular Creations for all of your costume needs.
