Well, our sweet little foster babe is nearing 5 months old already. That means we recently began searching for a new seat for her. I know that most infant seats CAN last until the child is 25-30 pounds. But, personally, I just can not lug that weight around inside a bucket seat. Instead, I tend to move our babies into a convertible or all in one seat before they technically outgrow their infant bucket. As the hunt began, I came across the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio All In One Carseat.

What’s An All In One Carseat?
Carseats can be a little confusing. There are really four different categories: Infant, Convertible, All-In-One, and Booster. The really cool thing about an all-in-one carseat is that it can truly be the ONLY seat you’ll need because it can accommodate kids from birth to booster = ALL IN ONE. It can be used in every mode!

Peg Perego Primo Viaggio All in One Carseat
The Peg Perego Primo Viaggio is an impressive all in one carseat. It provides safety and comfort throughout all stages from birth to booster. Thanks to its adaptive design, this seat is used from birth up to an age of 10+ years. Because as your child grows, you just adjust the 12-position headrest and harness to create the perfect fit.

Features At A Glance: Peg Perego Primo Viaggio
When it comes to safety, the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio has you covered. But when it comes to the bells and whistles, this carseat has them too!

- Meets ALL Your Carseat Needs: This seat is good for all! It accommodates rear-facing infants from 5 pounds – 50 pounds. Forward facing toddlers from 26 pounds – 65 pounds. And, finally, booster mode kids from 40 pounds to 120 pounds.

- 6 Comfort Recline Positions: Reclining is made easy for your little one here! Thanks to 6 approved reclining positions between both rear facing and forward facing configurations, comfort is the name of the game.

- Designed With Extra Leg Room: One complaint I hear often from parents about extended rear facing is they worry there just isn’t enough leg room. But rest easy, as this seat offers an extendable anti-rebound bar that gives your child and EXTRA 2 inches of leg room!

- Anti Rebound Bar For Added Safety: The Peg Perego Primo Viaggio is designed with an integrated anti-rebound bar. This bar enhances protection in case of a rear collision.

- Space Saving Design: If you’re needing multiple seats in a row or just looking for a slimmer fit, here you go! You’ll be able to put THREE Peg Perego Primo Viaggios across in most vehicles! I love this feature as I don’t know anyone who doesn’t need more space in their car.

- No Harmful Chemicals: The fabrics and foams in this seat are specially developed with alternative materials that do NOT use any flame retardant chemicals; yet still comply with fire safety standards.

- Easy Install: The best carseat is one that will be installed and used correctly. So Peg Perego has made it a priority to help parents get it right. Thanks to their ‘Easy Tight Latch System’ and color coding, belt routing is simple and clear.

Final Thoughts On The Peg Perego Primo Viaggio All In One Carseat
This seat is a solid choice. A bit heavy, weighing in at 25.65 pounds, it definitely feels well made. (And, truth be told, the weight isn’t a big deal because this is a seat you buckle in and it stays that way until kiddo graduates to the next mode.)

We’re going on a road trip soon and baby girl seems extremely comfortable in this seat. The included inserts are super soft and cozy for her.

And of course, the included cup holder is ALWAYS a hit with my kids!

What I know about car seat would barely cover my little finger nail. No kids, babies or car seats LOL
But what I read this sounds like a very good car seat to move the little one to. I know a woman who's boy is a little over 5 months and wearing 1 year clothes BIG Boy!
She will soon be looking into a bigger car sear for him so sharing with with her.
