I received the Step2 Paw Patrol Water Table at no cost to facilitate this post about Paw Patrol Activities. All opinions are my own.
We are super excited to have extra free time now that Summer is here. However, I still decided to plan a few “special” days a month where we focus on a theme and have planned activities, snacks, and crafts to keep things interesting. Since we have a couple big Paw Patrol fans in our family, I decided that our first fun day would focus around these Rescue Heros. Check out all of the fun Paw Patrol activities my family enjoyed!
First off, we started by introducing the surprise theme of the day. I dug out a couple of our beloved Paw Patrol books and we had a mini story time session.
Then, we moved on to a craft. Origami has always fascinated me and this easy-to-do pup was the perfect thing that even younger kids can manage with a little help. After a few simple folds, kids can decorate their Origami Pup any way they’d like. Of course, we went for the likenesses of: Chase, Rubble, Marshall, Zuma, Rocky, and Skye.
Our kids needed an activity to burn off energy next, so we headed outside to do a relay style race. The kids were put into “dog teams” of two and our “fetch” items were balls and bean bags. The object of the game was to race one of their objects to their partner, jump into the hula hoop with them, and then give a high five. That signaled their partner to then grab one of their objects and take off back to the first hula hoop. The first team to get both their balls and bean bags safely into their partners hoops and holler “Paw Patrol” won!
Joke Time!
Everyone loves a good joke so after all that running, I shared a few fun dog jokes with the kids.
Q: What kind of dog keeps the best time?
A: Watch Dog!
Q: Where does a jungle pup get his flowers?
A: From a rain-florist.
Q: How do construction worker pups celebrate?
A: They raise the roof!
Q: What do you call young dogs who like to play in the snow?
A: Slush puppies.
After joke time, we headed back into the house for one more craft. Since the word dog begins with the letter d, we created a D shaped dog. Prep consisted of me cutting out the large D letters. The kids then glued them on their construction paper and added a collar, tag, and ears. Finally, I told the kids to add an eye and any other characteristics, such as spots, that they wanted their dog to have.
Since everyone was getting hungry, I thought that “PUP-peroni” Pizza would be the perfect lunch time meal.
By this time, the sun was shining bright and we were hitting the mid-70s so it was time to cool down. The kids began jumping for joy when they caught sight of our new Step2 Paw Patrol Water Table. Thankfully, assembly was simple, the directions were clear, and we were ready for some water play in under 10 minutes.
Step2 Paw Patrol Water Table Features:

This Step2 Paw Patrol Water Table has been a huge hit with all five of our kids! Our two year old daughter especially loves sending the pups racing out of the lookout tower, down through the water slide.
The kids have found the water spinner to be quite the source of entertainment as they create large waves to splash the Paw Patrol Pups and each other.
We have also discovered a fun way to cool down by utilizing the squirting feature on the three include Paw Patrol Pets. It’s especially fun when we catch an unsuspecting target.
The Step2 Paw Patrol Water Table is geared for ages 1 1/2 and up and all five of our kids, ages 2-12, absolutely adore it. They have spent many hours playing with this table already and Summer has just begun.
