I love hanging out with my kids.  However, I typically have much more fun in the summertime with them.  Mainly, because I turn into an ice block here during our Minnesota winters.  I seriously can never get warm!  So instead, I tend to bundle the kids up and send them out the door while I watch through the window.  And I have to admit, it’s a little lonely watching them have all the fun out there!  Back when I was a child, the cold didn’t bother me.  But now as an adult, I needed to gear up.  Which is why I’m thrilled to share my Obermeyer The Bond Pant review with you!

The Fit

The Bond Pant is a wonderfully versatile pant with an unparalleled fit.  It features a truly waterproof softshell stretch fabric.  And the 4-way stretch and mid-rise accentuates its tailored fit.  All the while, providing a comfortable wear.

Cold Weather Protection

This pant is really awesome. It’s great on the mountain or worn as a cold-weather tight.  The HydroBlock® Active design resists up to 8,000mm before water penetration.  Plus, the inner water-resistant powder cuffs have gripper elastic for a tight fit.  Which assures a weather-proof barrier to the wearer.

Active Wearability

Designed with a full-motion articulation, The Bond Pant is made to be worn by active women.  Patterned for motion, they feature an extra length in the pants.  Plus pre-curved knees that are crafted to mimic the shape of a body in motion.

The Sizing

Being a shorter person, measuring in at just 5′ 2″, I struggle finding pants that will fit my length.  But thankfully, these awesome weatherproof pants come in short, regular, and long options!

So after our first real Minnesota snowfall of the year.  It was time to break my Obermeyer The Bond Pant out.  The kids couldn’t wait to get outdoors and I really wanted to join the fun.  So I dressed up and headed outside with them.  And I’m thrilled to say that the experience was great!  I could move freely in these pants.  But more importantly, I was able to stay warm and dry!  They are amazing and I’d highly suggest you check them out.
