Nex Playground Game System Review: Family Friendly Gaming You’ll Love!

I’ll be the first person to admit that we limit screen time in our home. I’ve never been a huge advocate for gaming systems… unless we’re talking old school Nintendo or Coleco. (<— If you know what a Coleco is, SOLIDARITY man! We LOVED that thing and I’d jump at the chance to play again!) But now, after getting to experience the Nex Playground Game System, I’ve definitely changed my stance. This is no ordinary gaming and I’m so excited to partner with them to share more today!

Our Family Review

I asked the kids to help me with this part. Because even though I’ve played, I wanted to share their input first.

KIDS THOUGHTS:

Sam (our 12 year old) says it’s ‘REALLY FUN!’ He loves how some of the games are more movement intensive and some are less. Some of the games are more challenging while he finds some easier. He said a ton of the games are really neat; although he hasn’t tried them all yet. His current favorite game is Tumbo Bots. There are different characters to choose from and your arms control the robots legs.

Lucy (our 10 year old) also shared her thoughts. She’s been enjoying playing the Nex Playground with family as well as her cousins. She says she really likes this gaming system. Her favorite thing about it is the fact that she gets to move and burn energy instead of sitting on the couch with a remote. Currently, her favorite game is Party Fowl.

Finally, I asked Alex (our 14 year old) to share too. He thinks it’s really cool and probably better to play for kids over typical screens. He describes game playing as really fun exercises that all ages enjoy. His currently favorite game is Starri.

MY THOUGHTS:

So far, we’ve all found the Nex Playground Game System to be loads of fun. It’s amazing how well the camera catches the players’ movements. We’ve found a little troubleshooting with distance tends to solve any issues or glitching. Not having to keep track or charge controllers is a huge plus in my book. I’m especially impressed with how small and portable this unit is. We can literally take it with us anywhere!

If you’re going to get your children or family a gaming system, this is the one to get. No more couch potatoes! Gaming will now have your kids up and moving; getting in some daily exercise while having a ton of fun.
