Making My Little Pony Cookies {With Warp Zone Prints Cookie Cutters}

my little pony cookie cutters

I received the My Little Pony cookie cutters at no cost from WarpZone Prints, along with Halloween Pumpkin Cookies cutters. I have been compensated for hosting this giveaway for them.

My daughter LOVES My Little Pony and I think it’s safe to say that a lot of you have children that loves this show too.  Playing with her My Little Pony characters is her favorite thing to do right now, in fact, I think she spends at least an hour every day playing ponies. They go outside with her, they ride in the car with us, they watch us as we fix dinner together, and she even had a My Little Pony themed birthday party when she turned 4.  We were able to find a lot of great My Little Pony themed items for her party, but I wish we had found these cookie cutters earlier! You see, a few weeks ago I was contacted by the WarpZone Prints company about reviewing some of their cookie cutters, and I was very excited when I saw they sell My Little Pony ones. I knew that Maggie would FLIP when she found out we could turn her favorite ponies into cookies!

WarpZone Prints sent us the 6 main ponies: Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, & Rarity. Maggie was able to easily identify each one, even correcting me when I mistook Rarity for Twilight Sparkle (the horror!). In hindsight, I should not have shown these to Maggie until we were ready to use them because she asked me about making them numerous times every day until we did (I was out of eggs).

To make these yummy cookies you will need your favorite rolled cookie dough recipe. If you don’t already have a favorite, WarpZone Prints has some great sugar cookie recipes you can try. This next step is totally optional, but my daughter really enjoyed making her cookies colorful, just like the ponies. After making the dough and letting it chill for about 2 hours, I split it into 6 portions. Then I used food dye (I like Wiltons) to color the dough. I used whole wheat flour in our cookie dough, but as you can see the dough still dyed well.

After dyeing the dough, we then rolled it out and used our new cookie cutters from WarpZone Prints. Within minutes we had all of Maggie’s favorite ponies cut from dough and ready for decorating. She used sprinkles on some and other we left sprinkle free.  The end result was a big batch of pony cookies that were not only delicious, they were fun too AND an extremely happy and proud little girl! We’ll be making a LOT of pony cookies in the future, I’m sure of it!

I keep mentioning WarpZone Prints, so let me tell you a little bit more about their store. At WarpZone prints, you’ll find a large assortment of cookie cutters to choose from, depicting characters from your favorite shows, movies, video games, and more. They can also work with you on a custom order! Here are just a few of the ones available:

Not only did they send me the My Little Pony cookie cutters, but with Halloween around the corner, they also sent over this fun pumpkin cookie cutter set. It comes with 4 different faces to use!

My Maggie loves Halloween, so she’s pretty excited about these cutters as well!
