Little Tikes is a well-known toy company that has been around since 1970. There’s a good chance that you already own a Little Tikes toy in your house, and maybe even played with Little Tikes toys as a child. My daughter has a Little Tikes dollhouse that was introduced in 1989, and it is one of her favorite toys. It was one of mine growing up too! The fact that this dollhouse is still around, and in great shape today, is a testament to the quality of Little Tikes! The cold weather has really hit our neck of the woods, so I wanted to find some toys for my children this holiday season that will keep them active while playing inside…and that’s when I found the Bounce House Trampoline from Little Tikes.

There are a few things that drew me to this product. First, I love the fact that it is an inflatable. I’ve mentioned before, but for those who don’t know, we live in a townhouse. Not only is our backyard pretty small, the inside of our house is not very big either. My children do not have a designated playroom. In fact, I gave up my dining room to give them a small area of our house for their toys. The small play area basically means that I rotate toys for my kids. They have a toy box of toys that I try to change out every few weeks and keep 2 tubs of toys in our garage to “freshen things up.” I love finding toys that are easy to store, like inflatables, so this Bounce House Trampoline is perfect! The Bounce House Trampoline arrived in a box sized at 14.25”L x 20.25”W x 14.00”H, small enough to easily store in a closet or my garage.
One important thing to note is that this bounce house does not come with a pump. Now, I must admit that when I read the description online, I thought that I needed one of those big blower pumps, like the ones you see on the big inflatables outside. Once the bounce house arrived, I realized I was wrong. What you actually need is a small pump, like the kind you would use to blow up an air mattress. I also (mistakenly) thought that you needed to have a pump continually blowing into this bouncer. In reality, just like an air mattress, once you have filled this bounce house with air, you close the valves and you are ready to bounce.
When inflated, this bounce house is 72.00”L x 72.00”W x 72.00”H. I am able to inflate it for a day of jumping and playtime for my kids (inflating with the pump takes about 15 minutes, as does deflating later on) and it is small enough to fit in our small, dining room play area. The first time I inflated this, we left it up for about 4 days. The kids were having too much fun! I added a little extra air to refresh it around day 2, but I was pretty impressed at how well it retained the air. Now I put it up about once a week to give the kids something new and different to do on cold days we are stuck in the house.
I don’t think I need to tell you that my children LOVE this Bounce House Trampoline. You might have noticed in the description that Little Tikes recommends that only 1 child play in the bounce house at a time. I am sure this is not only for safety reasons (so your children don’t bounce into each other), it is also to protect against holes in your bounce house caused by too much weight. However, I have to be honest–with two children ages 3 years and under and a BOUNCE HOUSE, it is hard for my children to take turns. I let them jump together and after plenty of jumping sessions, our bounce house is still going strong. They love playing inside of this together. *Please note, I am NOT encouraging you to use this product in a way that goes against Little Tikes recommendation; I am just letting you know how we use it.* For added fun, sometimes I even drape sheets over the top and sides to turn it into a fort for them.
Not only did Little Tikes send me this awesome Bounce House Trampoline, they also sent my children two of their brand new Lil Blabberz toys: Oolie (pink one) and Bagoo (green one). Lil’ Blabberz are soft and fuzzy, round characters that talk and sing with your children.
Features of Lil Blabberz:
• They tell 6 unique silly jokes • Pac Man style mouth • Sing alone or together to Rockin’ Robin • Lil’ Blabberz dance alone or together to the Chicken Dance and the Hamster • Can spin 360 degrees • Kids can bop Oolie’s head for a reaction • Blabberz play four games: 1- Ask Me a Question: Kids can ask Lil Blabberz any yes or no question and they will give you an honest but goofy answer 2-Rhyme Time: A Lil’ Blabberz says a word and kids will need to say 2 rhyming words before time runs out 3-Spin-a-roo single player: Kids guess how many times the Lil’ Blabberz will spin around. The Lil’ Blabberz will spin multiple times; kids count and see if you guessed correctly 4-Spin-a-roo multiple players: Kids form a ring around the Lil’ Blabberz. It will spin around multiple times. When the spinning stops the Lil’ Blabberz will ask a question to the person he’s facing. Child’s response triggers a comment from the Lil Blabberz • Interacts with the other Lil’ Blabberz • Requires 3 AA alkaline batteries (included)
The kids were so excited when they saw the new Lil’ Blabberz. They started playing with them right away. They even brought them into the Bounce House Trampoline with them to play. These things spin around, talk, sing songs–the kids just love them! Have a look:
As you can see, Lil’ Blabberz are a lot of fun! My kids also love their new Bounce House Trampoline. They get hours of active fun in that bouncer! I love hearing their laughter while they play!
