This handheld game is lightweight and perfectly sized for on-the-go or at home learning fun. We tend to bring it in the car as it helps make drives a bit more peaceful. What Is This Talking Flash Card Toy?

This device is a simple and fun interactive educational learning toy, geared for toddlers and parents. It’s the perfect aid to help parents teach their kids a variety of every-day words including animals, colors, and even foods.

How Does It Work?

This set comes with 224 sight word cards, which can easily be slid in and out of this reading machine. Once in, this game will speak the word aloud. It’s a great tool to help build vocabulary, increase visual recognition of objects, and even builds dexterity skills. One of my favorite features it that it’s rechargeable, no batteries needed! There is also a volume button with different volume levels to choose from.

I’m pretty impressed with how engaged my toddlers are with this educational toy. I LOVE how it doesn’t encourage screen time and that the kids still enjoy playing with it. It’s super easy to use and I appreciate that it comes with so many cards. They are sturdy but toddlers will most likely still manage to bend and damage them over time. So having so many is a huge plus. It’s compact and will fit into those Christmas stockings well <—HINT HINT!
