KidCo was generous enough to send me a Go Pod in the Pistachio color for review. The KidCo Go Pod is an ultra lightweight, portable activity seat developed as an alternative to bulky, stationary activity centers. Its one-of-a-kind ‘mobility design’ makes it a must-have piece of baby gear for in-home or family travel needs. As living spaces are getting smaller and lives are busier, the KidCo Go Pod sets the standards for both worlds perfectly. Simply fold and go!

As you can see, when collapsed, the Go Pod takes up very little room. Here’s my Maggie standing next to it in the packaging.
The Go-Pod is super quick and easy to set up! All you do is pull it out of the bag and open it, similar to the way you’d open up a lawn chair. Since we live in a townhouse, this activity center is perfect for us! We are limited on space as it is!! Having the Go-Pod means that Jacob can play in the Go-Pod whenever he’d like. Then, I can quickly and easily fold it up for storage and save on space in our small house!
Another thing I’ve really liked about the Go-Pod is that it is so much easier to move from room to room (or inside to outside) compared with other big, bulky activity saucers.
There are so many great features to the Go-Pod! The floor pad on the Go-Pod makes it perfect for taking it outside with us. It comes with 2 cup holders: use one for a drink and the other for a snack cup! There are 5 loops on the Go-Pod where you can attach toys. The Go-Pod comes in this great carrying bag, making it easy for you to take it with you when you leave the house. There is even a pocket on the carrying bag where you can keep the instructions, you keys, iPod, etc.
I’m planning on taking our Go-Pod to the Grandparent’s house when Jacob gets a little bit bigger! It seems a little silly to buy an extra activity center for their house since we are only over there about once a week. When you have a Go-Pod, because of the ease of it’s portability, you can have an activity center for your child no matter where you go! I think I’ll also take it with us when we go to the Tuckaway Shores Resort in September!
Jacob isn’t quite big enough to use the Go Pod yet, but I was able to try it out during one of Maggie’s play dates. Her friend has a little brother who is 6 months old–perfect for trying this out! He had a blast playing in the Go-Pod! He was able to stand and watch everything the older children were doing, while also playing with some of his own toys!
