I’m so excited today to be reviewing the GroVia All In One cloth diaper – more specifically the Cloud GroVia All In One. Here’s what this diaper looks like and a quick description of its features:
GroVia® Cloth All-In-Ones have a super absorbent, organic cotton inner, with a soft layer of water resistant TPU outer. No stuffing, no doublers. Simply snap on baby and go. It’s that easy!
Let me start out by saying that I used to be a huge pocket diaper girl when it came to cloth diapers. There’s nothing wrong with pocket diapers, they worked great for me, but after 2 years, I just got tired of all the stuffing!
So, now I have been trying as many AIO diapers that I can and slowly building my stash! This was my first time trying out any GroVia diaper. The first thing I noticed is that this diaper appears to be trimmer than other diapers I’ve used in the past. It also has a different way of snapping compared to other diapers. Here’s how this one looks for snapping/closure purposes:
The side wings are very stretchy, making it easy to get a good fit. You also have 5 rows of snaps per side, so adjusting it to get the perfect fit is, forgive me, a snap.
Now, I must admit that I’m not one to usually prep diapers. This diaper clearly states that you need to prep it with 3-5 washes before using, and I would recommend that. I noticed that with each wash the absorbency got better.
The diaper has one sewn-in soaker and a doubler you can snap on for heavy wetters. Because when snapped together, they are only snapped together on one end, drying time is still just about equal to a pocket diaper insert.
So, now that I’ve gone over all the features, I’m sure you are wondering my thoughts on the diaper, right? Well, to put it simply, I really liked it!
I must admit, it is still not my number 1 favorite, all-around AIO cloth diaper (that spot is held by my beloved bumGenius AIO Elemental), but it has taken over the #2 spot! The only reason it didn’t make the #1 spot is because it doesn’t hold quite as much pee as the Elemental. For trimness, it is #1 for sure! I love that it is almost as small underneath an outfit as a disposable would be. It is also very easy to adjust and is truly able to fit a number of sizes. It is also SO easy to use and NO stuffing!!
Here is the Grovia All in One on my little girl. She is potty training, but I thought I’d have her model just so you can see. She is almost 3 years old and close to 30lbs and the diaper fits her very well.
And, here it is on my baby. He is 7 1/2 months and about 16 pounds.
I would happily add a few more GroVia AIO diapers to my stash, and I think you’d like them too if you give them a try! GroVia All in One cloth diapers are priced at $23.95 and are available at your favorite cloth diaper retailer, including Amazon.com.
