Janessa’s Special Announcement

Well, on the heels of Miranda’s exciting announcement, I thought it was about time that I share a little secret I’ve been keeping myself — our family is expecting as well! We’re welcoming our 7th (yes, 7th, well 8th if you count my miscarriage) baby in late February or early March. (My due date is technically February 26th but more than likely early March since I have never had a baby come early or even on a due date.)

I’m currently 14 weeks along and although more tired than usual, overall I’m feeling pretty good!

The kids were SO excited when we told them! SO EXCITED!

Because I’m an “older mom” this time around (35 years) I had a blood test which checks for any genetics issues. Everything came back normal. We ALSO found out the gender already because of that! It’s weird knowing so early. I’m not quite ready to announce that yet, but will share that soon! As you might imagine, the girls are hoping for a sister and the boys would like a brother.

Miranda and I are so excited to be pregnant at the same time and looking forward to sharing a lot in the upcoming weeks and months about all things baby! We are only about 4 weeks apart with our pregnancies; how fun is that?!
