If you have a little one, you’ve probably heard of the Kyte Baby brand. With the price point being higher than typical store bought clothes, you may have wondered if they’re worth the hype. If that’s the case, this post is for you.
What You Need To Know Before You Buy
You may already know that Kyte Baby sells a variety of infant clothing, sleepers, sleep sacks, and blankets. But did you know they also have options for kids up to size 10!? Not only that, they’ve also branched out to offering some adult clothing and pajama pieces too.
Yes, you will find cheaper options at local big box stores. However, take note that the quality will not be the same and if you’re only viewing price points, you’re not comparing apples to apples.
Kyte Baby has set themselves apart from the crowd with a superior quality that parents (including myself) love. They may have started as one mama on a mission, but these days, they couldn’t do what they do today without a dedicated team—a diverse group that includes parents, caregivers, and sustainability advocates hailing from all around the world. From their headquarters in the US and manufacturing facility in China to Canada, and even the UK; the Kyte Baby team is everywhere!
The Good
There is a LOT to love about Kyte Baby’s products. As I mentioned above, they have something for everyone in the family. We’ve found the quality to be pretty awesome, and the Kyte Baby products we’ve owned have held up extremely well to constant wearing and washing.
The biggest reason I love Kyte Baby is because their fabrics are buttery soft. So comfortable that our 2 year old reaches for her bamboo pieces as soon as they are back in her drawer after washing -every-single-time! They are ALWAYS the first items she picks out to wear and only deviates if all are in the hamper.
I am also a huge fan of the cute prints and fun styles that Kyte Baby offers. They are unique, sweet, and fun. The solids are simple, yet cute. The patterns are unique and gorgeous. I’m not really into the graphic styles with words and phrases that label kids and I appreciate that this brand has avoided gravitating that way.
Because this is a small, family owned company; the customer service tends to be much better than big box stores. And I’m always for supporting small business!
Kyte Baby Pros At A Glance
- Soft, Hypoallergenic Material That’s Perfect For Sensitive And Delicate Skin
- Beautiful Prints And Solids
- Classic Styles
- Buttery Soft Comfort
- Small Family Business
The Bad
The old adage ‘you get what you pay for’ is often true and it also happens to stand here. The main negative about Kyte Baby is the price point. Yes, their pieces are more expensive than what you’ll find at department stores. I also want to point out that their instructions state to hang or air dry their pieces only. (I can’t confirm, nor deny, if I follow this instruction…..lol. However, I will say that we have 10 people living in our home and I’m very busy.) I will also add though, that our pieces are holding up VERY well!
Kyte Baby Cons At A Glance
- Price Point Is Higher Than Big Box Store Clothing
- Some Customers Have Reported Pilling On Their Items (although that’s something we haven’t personally dealt with)
- Hang/Air Dry Only
Final Thoughts
Crafted with care and designed for comfort, I’m a huge fan of Kyte Baby products and safe sleep solutions.
