Finally – a streaming service that is truly family-friendly! Intrigued?
Let me tell you all about Frndly TV!
When we moved into our home almost 3 years ago we decided to ditch cable television. We were trying to save costs and frankly, there were just so many programs and channels on cable that I didn’t want my children watching.
Growing up, there were so many great programs for families to watch together. Now, even though there are good programs for families, there are lots of other programs and entire channels that are certainly NOT family-friendly at all.
Of course, losing cable meant losing some of the channels I loved as well. No Christmas season rolls around without me wishing I had the Hallmark channels to watch a sappy, romantic Christmas movie. And any time a big storm is coming I’ve always missed having access to the Weather Channel.
I was thrilled to find Frndly TV (only $5.99 per month)! It’s a new streaming service featuring 12 popular, family-friendly networks, including:
- Hallmark Channel
- Hallmark Movies and Mysteries
- Hallmark Drama
- Game Show Network
- Outdoor Channel
- Sportsman Channel
- World Fishing Network
- Light TV
- baby First
- The Weather Channel
I’ve been trying it out for the past few weeks and I’m hooked! I’ve had the chance to watch some of my favorites from years ago like:
- Little House on the Praire
- Touched by an Angel
- Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman
- Family Feud
- Deal or no Deal
- Cash Cab
Not to mention these fun cartoons for my kids:
- Inspector Gadget
- The Busy World of Richard Scarry
- The Country Mouse and the City Mouse Adventures
Unlike streaming services like Netflix or Amazon Prime Video, with Frndly TV, you’re streaming live TV. It’s like having cable again but without all the junk I didn’t want! You can also DVR your favorite shows (I do that for all the shows I mentioned above!) and watch a lot of programs On Demand as well.
As we head into the holiday season, I am SO excited to have some of my favorite channels back! Hallmark Christmas movie season is about to begin. Are you ready?
Pour yourself a nice hot latte or hot chocolate then curl up on the couch and watch a Hallmark movie with me this weekend!
