Summer is in full swing here and to celebrate, Great Wolf Lodge Minnesota, has officially launched day passes, granting access to its indoor and outdoor waterparks for the entire day.  Over a year ago, our local hotel rebranded and renovated into a gorgeous Great Wolf Lodge.  However, many locals were disappointed that day passes were no longer available.  Living close to the Mall of America and nearby waterpark held many benefits and families missed this perk.  So now that day passes are again available, it’s a time to celebrate!  

Great Wolf Lodge Day Passes Are Now Available

Great Wolf Lodge is providing families with a new way to experience the resort’s beloved waterpark. Guests can choose to howl for a single day with a brand-new waterpark day pass. Starting at $50 per person, this option is now available at U.S resorts starting summer 2019. 

Until now, access to Great Wolf Lodge’s waterpark was available only to overnight guests.  This new offering means families looking for a quick day trip have the option of spending the day at the resort’s centerpiece attraction.

Special Notes:

The number of waterpark day passes will be monitored each day to ensure the number of visitors at the waterpark is actively managed.  Water park day passes available on any given day is based on the projected number of rooms occupied at the resort.  This controlled approach allows Great Wolf Lodge to maintain a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable waterpark experience for all guests.

Checking Availability

To check availability of waterpark day passes for a particular day, guests can visit the Great Wolf Lodge website.  Due to the capacity restraints in place, waterpark day passes must be purchased at least a day in advance. 

Waterpark day passes are only available online and cannot be purchased at the resorts. And for those with younger kids.  Passes are not required for toddlers 2 or under when accompanied by an adult pass holder.

Water Park Day Pass Time Availability

The waterpark day pass program provides families with a full day of play.  Guests can access the waterpark starting at 10am on the day their pass is valid and can stay at the resort until the waterpark closes that evening. 

Take A Break And Enjoy Food And Play

Of course, if you’re going to spend an entire day to enjoy great wolf lodge Day Passes… You’ll probably want to grab a bite to eat at one of their onsite food options.  So many great choices are available!  Burgers, fries, pizza, ice cream, donuts, and more!  Because all that water play WILL make you hungry as a wolf!

And there’s always the fun arcade full of action.  The kids love to enjoy some game time every time we visit the Great Wolf Lodge in Bloomington, MN.  This is conveniently located right outside of the waterpark for easy access.

Get A Pup, Paw, Or Wolf Pass!

If you’re spending the night (or two!) at Great Wolf Lodge, you’ll definitely want to get your kids one of the discount passes.  These passes allow your family to explore and experience a variety of activities and treats at a discounted price.  You can also head over to read our post about if Paw Passes are worth it.

If your kids love adventure, they will definitely want one of these passes.  While the activities have changed slightly on them each time we’ve gone, these passes have kept the kids busy from morning to night.  So between the waterpark and their wolf passes, we had so much fun!

Did Someone Say Bowling?!

Probably my favorite thing to do after the waterpark.  The 10 Paw Bowling Alley offers miniature sized balls and pins but mega sized fun.

Your Sweet Tooth Won’t Stand A Chance!

A visit to enjoy great wolf lodge Day Passes or an overnight stay wouldn’t be complete without filling a cup of candy at the sweet shop.  So many choices!  What would you choose?

 Mining For….. Gold Or Precious Gems?

If she could, our 4 year old Lucy would stay at the mine All…Day…Long!  But honestly, this is an activity that all five of our kids do enjoy.  

They love finding the different stones and identifying them.

And this time, they got really neat burlap bags to bring their treasures home in!

The Rock Wall Was A Major Hit, As Always

Everyone loves taking a daring climb on the rock wall.  From Lucy all the way up to us adults, it’s an adventure that we can’t resist.

Take A Daring Walk On The Ropes Course

This two level course offers thrills and excitement as challengers conquer each activity.  But don’t worry.  Everyone is safely secured in their harness.

Children under a certain height do need to go with an adult.  Older kids can attempt the course on their own.  However, a worker is always on the course and stays near-by to help if needed.

This course is truly a must try.  And the awesome part of your Wolf Pass is that you can go on it over and over again during your entire stay!

Magi Quest

A stay at the great wolf lodge wouldn’t be complete without playing Magi Quest.  Our kids were still talking about this game from a year ago.  So this was a HUGE highlight for them.

Magi Quest is included in both the Paw and Wolf Passes, but not the Pup Pass.  Our youngest is 4 (will be 5 in September) and even she enjoys the game.  While she doesn’t necessarily understand everything, it’s still fun to her.  The older kids LOVE the game and totally know what they are doing and what the goal is.

A Cool Treat

The kids LOVED sitting down to a scoop of ice cream mid-way through our day.  It was the perfect treat and rest from all the water park and Wolf Pass adventures.

So as you can see, our family had a ton of fun on our visit to the Great Wolf Lodge.  While we adore spending a couple nights, I’m thrilled that they now offer Great Wolf Lodge Day Passes too.  It’s a great way to enjoy their facility when we don’t have time to be away for an extended period of time.
