Fisher-Price is one of those nostalgic toy companies that made some of my favorite toys from childhood. I had a Fisher-Price kitchen set that I just LOVED. I played with that thing every day for years.

When my son saw this set, the first thing he said was, “I want this for my birthday!”. I’m not sure why a lot of people have the idea that only girls like to play with pretend food toys. My boys have all enjoyed them as well. They especially love having me order an item and then they prepare and serve it to me.

This wooden coffee shop set from Fisher-Price is so fun because kids play barista or customer with 19 play pieces to bring their stories to life. Ring up customers at the register, “brew” a fresh cup of java, and serve it up with a tasty treat (savory or sweet!) from the display counter.

This adorable set is made with wood and decorated with non-toxic, water-based paints. It’s recommended for kids ages 3 and older although I’d say that most of my kids were ready for a toy like this around 2.5 years.
