About 3 years ago a feral kitten wondered onto our back porch. She was cute, scared, and hungry. Over the course of the next few months we slowly managed to tame her enough to get her into the vet’s office for shots and to be spayed.
All of our cats are named for characters from The Lord of the Rings and so she was named Mrs. Proudfoot – Missy or Proudfoot for short.

I’m sure you’ve all heard the phrase “scaredy cat” and well, I’m always saying that Mrs. Proudfoot is how that phrase came to be. Even after all this time, she is still such a scaredy cat. She’s scared inside, she’s scared outside.
We learned that she is happiest when kept in one room of our home, away from the other cats and dog.
We do usually put her outside every other day or so for some exercise, but she never wants to stay out there long. She always comes inside and runs right back to her room, otherwise known as our office.
We have a couch in our office so my oldest son often sleeps in there with her at night. She’s really such a sweetie to us when we’re in there with her and she’s not afraid.
When I went in there today to snap the photos for the review she jumped down off of her cat tree and came running over for pets.
If you’ve ever lived with cats, you know the struggle of the litter box situation. It’s the one necessary evil of pet ownership, essential, but almost always an eyesore. It certainly was always an eyesore in the office.
Not only that, but she was always getting litter all over the place.
Enter the Feandrea Litter Box Enclosure, a game-changing piece of furniture that blends function, form, and feline privacy all in one. Today I wanted to share my review of this litter box enclosure with all of you.

First Impressions
I’ve never been shy about my love of IKEA and you can think of Feandrea like the IKEA for cat furniture that you can order on Amazon! The instructions were clear (thank goodness), and assembly took about 30–40 minutes.
All of the hardware pieces were clearly labeled and it even comes with all the tools you’ll need incase you don’t have them yourself.

Design & Features
Right away, I noticed how well it matched our home decor with a modern yet cozy vibe that didn’t scream “hey, there’s a litter box in here!”
It’s not just a litter box cover – it can double as a side table, bench, or even a little cat lounge space on top.
Easy access doors: The magnetic cabinet doors open wide for super easy scooping and cleaning. No awkward maneuvering or scraped knuckles.
Good ventilation: The back has a few openings, which help keep things from getting too stuffy (or smelly).
Sturdy and kid-proof: With seven kids running around, durability matters. So far, it’s held up beautifully—even with toddlers occasionally using it as a launch pad.
My son who often sleeps in that room uses it quite a bit like a bedside table.

Size & Fit
We use a standard-size litter pan, and it fits perfectly with a little room to spare. If you have a large litter box or a jumbo-sized kitty, just double-check the measurements before ordering.
Cleanliness & Odor Control
No one wants to smell the litter box, and this enclosure helps minimize that issue significantly. It doesn’t eliminate odor altogether (you still have to scoop), but it keeps the worst of it contained and out of view.
It’s also helped so much to prevent pieces of litter being scattered all over the room thanks to the little walk-out area that has a mat to help clean her paws.

Final Thoughts
The Feandrea Litter Box Enclosure has made a big difference in how our office looks! No more litter tracked through the room or ugly plastic boxes sitting out in the open. It’s stylish, practical, and surprisingly affordable compared to some of the trendier “pet furniture” options out there.
If you’re tired of staring at your cat’s litter box, this might be the best home upgrade you make this year.
Would I buy it again?
Absolutely! If you’re ready to buy one it’s available at Amazon and the Songmics website. There are white and grey color options available as well.
Win a Feandrea Cat Scratcher with Perch!
Maybe you noticed in this photo that Mrs. Proudfoot is in need of a new cat scratcher. It’s next on the list of kitty supplies for that room. She uses her cat scratcher all the time!

This looks great! I wish that this was available when I had my kitties! I was always concerned though that since they didn't grow up with an enclosed litter box that they couldn't adapt. Thanks for sharing!
