I’ve tried meal subscriptions before and have enjoyed them as they help eliminate the ‘what’s for dinner’ question but one thing I still find tricky is the prep work and time. The recipe card may say 30 minutes but when I’m creating an unfamiliar recipe from scratch, it typically takes quite a bit longer… at least the first time. A couple months ago, I was introduced to Dream Dinners and am excited to share my Dream Dinners review with you today because they take care of all the work!

How To Order

For a shipped to your door Dream Dinners experience, just visit their website to view menu options. Select your meals, delivery date, and complete your order. NOTE: If the options are limited when you visit, be sure to keep checking back for a restock!

Your Meal Kit Prep

When the time nears for your shipment, the Dream Dinners team gets busy! They shop, chop, and prep your meals and then package them up for shipment to your front door. Meals are sent in a cooler with large ice packs to keep everything fresh and cool.

What To Do When Your Dream Dinners Kit Arrives

Upon delivery, unpack your dinner kits and either refrigerate or, if you won’t be using within a few days, place in the freezer. (To thaw, just take your kit from the freezer and place in the refrigerator for a day or two.)

Each meal comes prepped and only takes minutes to assemble for cooking. There is also an instruction card that tells you what temps to bake (or cook) things at. Most meals take less then 30 minutes — which is almost entirely cooking time! And because all the slicing and dicing is already done, there’s typically only minimal clean up of just a pan or two.

Meals We’ve Received

We’ve had three months worth of meals delivered from Dream Dinners, with three meals each month. Every single meal we’ve had has been nothing short of amazing. My absolute TOP favorite though, is their PULLED PORK BANH MI SLIDERS. I’ve never had anything like these before and the flavors were absolutely phenomenal.

I’m still dreaming about these amazing flavors! So if you ever see them on the options menu, jump fast before they’re gone! You will not be disappointed!

Another great meal that we’ve chosen was their PUB STYLE CHICKEN WITH MASHED POTATOES. The marinated chicken breasts feature bacon and cheese over the top along with ranch which delivers a flavorful punch. Served over mashed potatoes, this is a winning combination.

Another fun way to switch up the Pub Style Chicken with Mashed Potatoes meal is to serve on a bun! I had some leftover buns from a weekend meal and just spread a little mayo on it and placed my chicken breast on top. It tasted amazing!

Dream Dinners’ CRISPY FRENCH ONION CHICKEN WITH OVEN ROASTED BROCCOLI was another favorite and I actually ordered it twice it was so good! The crispy chicken is seasoned with garlic and Worcestershire sauce and coated in a crispy French onion crust. This one also tastes good as-is or served on a bun.

Time and time again, no matter what meal we’ve chosen, the flavors have really a cut above. One of my husbands favorites has been the LUCKY DRAGON PORK TENDERLOIN WITH JASMINE RICE. He loved the flavor combinations of this meal.

This CHICKEN YAKITORI OVER JASMINE RICE was another home run. It’s diced chicken stir-fried and simmered in an Asian-infused sauce of soy, sesame, ginger, and brown sugar served over jasmine rice. YUM!

Overall Thoughts On Dream Dinners

While you do pay a little more for a Dream Dinners kit, you’re getting so much more convenience than other typical meal subscriptions. Plus, every single meal we’ve tried has been absolutely wonderful.
