My Easy Dr. Pepper Brownies Recipe Full of Chocolate!

It’s no secret that I love my sweets. Ice cream, cake, cookies, brownies, it doesn’t matter; I love them all! Recently I decided that I wanted to change things up with my easy brownie recipe and add in one of my favorite drinks: Dr. Pepper!

Best Ever Dr Pepper Brownies

These homemade brownies turned out SO delicious that I wanted to share the recipe with all of you today. They are almost as easy to make as a box of brownie mix and are so moist and yummy!

Dr. Pepper Brownies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 can Dr. Pepper
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • dash of cinnamon

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease 9×9 or 8×8 baking pan
  3. Stir together all of the dry ingredients except chocolate chips (flour, baking powder, sugar, cocoa powder, cinnamon & salt) in a large bowl.
  4. Stir in the Dr. Pepper and vanilla extract until blended
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips
  6. Pour into prepared baking pan and bake for 30-40 minutes
  7. Serve with fresh cherries and/or whipped cream if desired

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour

  • cup cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 can Dr Pepper
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • dash of cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grease 9×9 or 8×8 baking dish with cooking spray or by lightly spreading vegetable oil.
  • Stir together all of the dry ingredients except chocolate chips (flour, baking powder, sugar, cocoa powder, cinnamon & salt) in a medium bowl.
  • Stir in Dr Pepper and vanilla extract until blended
  • Stir in chocolate chips
  • Pour into prepared pan and bake for 30-40 minutes
  • Serve with fresh cherries and/or whipped cream if desired

Notes

Cut cooled brownies into squares and store in an airtight container.
Change up the recipe a bit by using chocolate chunks in place of the chocolate chips.
These brownies are great paired with a glass of cold milk, vanilla ice cream, or, of course, a can of Dr Pepper.

I never did get around to trying to make these! I used to drink Dr. Pepper all the time, but have switched to water. Maybe I should treat myself and buy some just to try these!
