I received this daddy diaper bag at no cost to facilitate a review.
So, if there is one thing I’ve learned over the course of being a father of three, it is that the general public does not cater to the needs of fathers. When I am out with my children and the youngest needs a diaper change, good luck finding a changing table in a men’s restroom. For the most part, you won’t find it. I am usually forced to retreat back to the van so I can have a clean(ish), flat place to change a diaper.
Baby related products have been directly marketed towards women rather than men until recent years. For a while, I found it incredible difficult to find a diaper bag that didn’t scream femininity. I was to the point of considering the purchase of a tool bag to use as a diaper bag just to separate myself from the flowery pastels or effeminate leather of most diaper bags on the market. Janessa usually chooses very stylish diaper bags which aren’t overly feminine but I am a tad OCD and I couldn’t tolerate the lack of organization in hers. I literally cannot look in that bag without an overwhelming sense of foreboding and mental anguish. I like things separated and organized in a meticulous fashion and I know I need to see a psychiatrist or therapist. But, I am who I am!
Being the damaged person that I am, I was very excited to get to try The Daddy Diaper Pack from Daddy & Co. This bag is made with guys like me in mind. First and foremost, it’s a backpack – nothing feminine about that. It’s really easy to carry and keeps my hands free. Daddy & Co offers it in black or camo; I decided to go with camo. It is loaded with storage and pockets, enabling me to keep everything organized. There are 2 large compartments for diapers, wipes, clothes, blankets, and toys , an insulated cooler pocket for snacks, an organizer pocket for smaller items like keys, money, pacifiers, and small toys, a fleece lined pocket for my sunglasses and cellphone, and 2 mesh side pockets for extra baby bottles, sippy cups, or water bottles.
This diaper bag is simple, functional, and masculine. It’s the perfect diaper bag for dads!
