Creamy Chicken Alfredo Recipe

Chicken Alfredo Recipe

In any classic Chicken Alfredo Recipe, you’ll find three main components: chicken, pasta, and a cream sauce. Put together correctly, you’ll have an amazing meal.

  • Chicken: What I love about this recipe is that you can utilize fresh chicken breasts, frozen chicken breasts, or even rotisserie chicken. I tend to use whichever I find the best deal on at the grocery store.
  • Pasta: The pasta is an important part of this show-stopping recipe. Cooked perfectly, until al dente; it’s the bed of this popular dish. Another great part is that you can actually switch up what style pasta you use to alter the look and slightly change the taste but still end up with a smashing success of a meal.
  • Alfredo Sauce: This dish utilizes my absolute favorite homemade Alfredo sauce recipe to deliver an incredible white sauce that perfectly coats the pasta.

    Notes

    • You can substitute the chicken breasts for diced rotisserie chicken.
    • Changing up the style of pasta adds a different look and slightly different flavor. Our favorites are linguine, spaghetti, and penne.
    • The sauce can also be made in a slow cooker.
    • Drizzling olive oil over the pasta before serving helps prevent it from sticking together.

This looks so much better and fresher than the jar alfredo sauce I use. The recipe looks easy to follow with ingredients I already have on hand.

I love alfredo sauce. Whenever I have leftover chicken, ham and/or mushrooms, I throw them in.
