Shortly after my husband and I got married, my grandmother saw what a “snacker” he was and how much he loved her special Cereal Drop Snack Mix recipe. Every time we’d visit and she had some on her counter, he’d devour way more than he should. So she insisted that I take the recipe, “be a good wife”, and start making it for him. She seriously thought I barely fed the guy! (Which was obviously not true but you got to love grandmas and how much they fuss over the amount of food that everyone consumes.)
So through the years, I dig this beloved recipe out and make it a couple times a year for my family. I love that it’s really simple and only takes a few minutes to create but is loved by everyone. Plus, bonus points for me when grandma asks if I ever make it and I get to say YES!
Cereal Drop Snack Mix Recipe

- 1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil
Directions:
1. Measure out both cereals, M&Ms, and cashews into a large mixing bowl and then set aside until step three.
2. In a double boiler, melt the white chocolate chips and coconut oil together. Stir often until completely melted.
3. Pour the melted mixture over the top of first bowl and gently mix until everything is completely coated.
4. Pour mixture onto parchment paper into a long snake type rectangle shape.
5. Let set until chocolate hardens, which typically takes about 3 hours. Then simply break apart into smaller chunks of desired size.
6. Enjoy! This yummy Cereal Snack Mix recipe can be stored in an air-tight container on the counter but if you’re family is anything like mine, it won’t last long!

Too funny! My mom seems to think I never "feed" my husband either. lol! This looks like a yummy snack. I'd have to tweak it some due to my girls' food allergies, but I think I with a few modifications it'd be safe and yummy for them!
