These are great ideas to celebrate Birthdays! I think the best things are free, especially when they are very thoughtful. One thing that I always do for my kids is let them choose what they have for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for their special day. They have so much fun with it!

My niece has this birthday party stuff down pat. She has a place she can rent for $25 for all day. She has a blowup house that will fit inside. Has a friend that does face painting. And family that all pick some food to bring. It is always a fun filled afternoon and it cost her less then $100. total.

BUT they also know some of the free places to go for great niece to celebrate.

Great ideas! I love planning parties for my kids, but yes... they can get very expensive! We've never had a picnic party before, but I love that idea for my middle kiddo! She will be turning 10 soon and I think she'd love a picnic at the park with friends!
