I’m so excited today to bring you a full review of the Aosom Outdoor 2-Seated Children’s Truck w/ Parental Remote Control & Two Motors. When I was a kid, I wanted my own battery-powered ride-on toy SO badly. I never did get one myself, but it’s been fun to watch my kids have a blast with them!

We actually already own 2 other battery-powered ride-on toys, but one of them is super slow in the grass and the one that does okay in the grass is only a 1-seater. With 6 kids, that’s just not an ideal situation. I was searching for a battery-operated kids vehicle that would be able to handle the grass and be big enough for two kids.

Assembling the Aosom Outdoor 2-Seated Children’s Truck w/ Parental Remote Control & Two Motors

When the truck arrived, the kids couldn’t wait to get in it and drive. It had to be assembled first and then charged. Unfortunately for me, my husband wasn’t available to help with assembly, so the chore feel totally on my to-do list.

I have to admit, I was a little overwhelmed at first. However, I must say, having grown up with a single mom, it feels good when I tackle these tougher assembly tasks on my own because I know I can then share with all of you that you CAN get it assembled, even if you’re a single gal with limited experience with things like this. The only extra tool you will need is a screwdriver. Everything else is included.

It took me about 2 hours total to get it assembled. I’m sure my husband could have done it faster, but I was pretty pleased with the accomplishment! Once assembled, you need to charge it for at least 10 hours but no more than 16. It is really important that you let it get a full charge that first time. Don’t let your kids unplug it after 2 hours and drive it because that can negatively affect your battery forever. We let ours charge overnight, so it was pretty close to the 16-hour mark when we unplugged it.

Riding/Driving the Aosom Outdoor 2-Seated Children’s Truck w/ Parental Remote Control & Two Motors

My kids were chomping at the bit to drive this thing, so immediately after breakfast, even though it was windy and like 20 degrees outside, they bundled up and headed out. They LOVED it. It definitely drives better in the grass than any of the other battery-powered ride-on toys we have owned.

My kids love the fact that it has headlights that actually work and a “radio” that plays 3 different songs. They really love the music! It’s so cute to see them outside jamming right they ride.

All of my kids, from the 19-month-old all the way up to my 11-year-old have loved riding/driving it. Of course, the 19-month-old can’t drive it on his own, but he loves to ride with his older siblings.

The doors are able to open and close and you can even lock them when little kids are riding with older siblings.

One of the coolest features for parents (that I’ve never seen before) is that this battery-powered ride-on for kids comes with a remote control! That’s right, when my 3-year-old wants to drive it all by himself, I can make sure he’s not running into our actual vehicles, siblings, or other things he shouldn’t be hitting. I LOVE this feature!

The battery life on this is great. I haven’t timed it but I can tell you that it lasts a long time! My kids have been able to ride for quite a while without needing to stop to recharge it.

Conclusion

Overall, I can’t say enough good things about the Aosom Outdoor 2-Seated Children’s Truck w/ Parental Remote Control & Two Motors. It appears to be well-made, works great in the grass (and of course the road too), and my kids have had SO much fun with it! I definitely would recommend it.
