While I was a little doubtful at first, I was amazed at how quick it could create a meal for my family. But not only that. It actually tasted GREAT! Although, if I’m going to be completely honest, I’ll admit that this 4 Minute Air Fryer Sugar Donut Recipe is the family favorite. Yes…. we all have a sweet tooth here! But upwards and onwards!
What’s For Dinner
Do you ever get home and times ticking down to dinner? And you just don’t know what to make!? Well, I’ve been turning to my air fryer on those days. I’m usually able to get a meal on the table quicker that way. And bonus points that it’s usually healthier too since I didn’t have to fry anything in oil!
Air Fryer Sriracha Honey BBQ Chicken Recipe
The very first recipe I ever tried in my air fryer just so happened to be Air Fryer Sriracha Honey BBQ Chicken Recipe. I wanted to whip together a healthier version of Chicken Wings and Drummies. So no deep frying, as I just turned to my air fryer for help!
Start by placing the chicken in your air fryer and starting a cycle.
Stop to turn the chicken after eight minutes. (It was neat to see them already starting to cook as I didn’t think they would have been browning already!)
After another eight minute round, I added a bag of store bought fries. Did you know that you can layer some things in your fryer!? This is good to know if you’re hoping to get a few things ready at once.
Then, I ran three more cycles, flipping after each one to ensure everything was cooking evenly.
While those last cycles were going, I got my sauce ready.
Then, at this point, I pulled out the chicken and ran the fries on one more short (5 minute) cycle to keep them warm while I finished up the chicken.
Once everything was done, I served it up!
It was so easy!
Printable Air Fryer Sriracha Honey BBQ Chicken Recipe
- 2½ # Chicken Wings/Drummies
- ⅔ cup Honey
- ⅔ Cup BBQ Sauce
- 4 Tablespoons Sriracha Sauce
- 3 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
- ½ Tablespoon Butter
- 1 Tablespoon Lime Juice
- Parsley (For Garnish)
- *I use my 5.8 Quart GoWISE Air Fryer*
- Place wings in basket.
- Set heat for 360 degrees and timer for 8 minutes.
- Flip chicken.
- Run four more cycles, stopping after 8 minutes each time to flip the chicken.
- During the final cycle, place the honey, Sriracha sauce, BBQ Sauce, soy sauce, butter, and lime juice in a pot and bring to boil.
- Boil for 3 minutes.
- Put chicken and sauce into bowl and coat chicken.
- Place chicken on a plate and garnish with parsley.
- Serve hot.
This was a super yummy meal that we really enjoyed! Plus, it didn’t take a lot of effort to make either which I love.
