After Death Movie Review

The movie After Death provided a sense of comfort for me. I have lost loved ones this year and it is never easy to say goodbye. Fortunately enough, I was able to say my goodbyes to my cousin, who passed away from cancer, and my grandpa, who passed away from congestive heart failure. This was the first time in my life that I was able to say goodbye to a loved one and also the first time I saw someone close to death. As uncomfortable and painful as it was, I have no regrets.

At first, I questioned if I would be able to handle watching this After Death film as my grandpa just passed 2 weeks ago. I felt that maybe by watching this film, I was not trusting in my faith and questioning what the good lord had planned for me. What I discovered was that watching this film right after the death of my grandpa provided me peace that he was in a better place. I didn’t need to see this film to know there is life after death, but maybe it was part of god’s plan for the people who had near-death experiences, to share their experiences and comfort those who waiver or fear death.
