Even though we are still technically practicing social distancing here in Minnesota, I’m itching for some summer fun in the sun!  We’ve already started taking family bike rides as the spring weather has been unbelievable this year.  Not only that, I’ve even gotten my first (slight) sunburn last week!  (#LessonLearned)  I have now dug out my sunblock.  But as I look ahead to the upcoming baseball games, family camp, and other fun activities, I’m preparing by gearing up.  With what you ask?  Well, a pair of awesome Women’s ZX/2 Classic Chaco Sandals!

I’ll be the first one to admit that a pair of Chaco Sandals is definitely a splurge for me.  However, I have learned over the years that being a Thrifty Nifty Mommy sometimes means investing in better things that will pay off in the long run.  So here are the top 7 reasons I feel like everyone needs a pair of Chacos this summer.

1)  Chaco Sandals Are High Quality And Built To Last

I honestly don’t mind investing in products that are made to last.  Too often these days, that can be a hard feature to find.  So while I’m fully aware that Chaco Sandals are a little expensive, I want to note that they are also built to last.  You won’t have to worry about replacing worn out Chacos any time soon.  Their strong construction is immediately evident and they’re the most durable pair of sandals I’ve owned.

2)  Designed Well

Are you tired of painful feet when wearing shoes or sandals?  Chacos are designed so well that even your pinkie toes will be comfortable.  Their straps are created with a durable fabric that runs through the sole of the sandal, allowing you to easily adjust your straps to fit your feet perfectly.  This makes me extra excited as I broke my (pinkie) toe at the end of last year and it’s STILL not back to normal.  Some days, it’s achy and tender yet but I can still head out in comfort with my Chaco Sandals.

3)  They Go Anywhere You Want To Go

Last year, we attended family camp and had a great time.  The one issue I had, though, was that we needed ‘water shoes’ or sandals at the beach and in the water.  I didn’t have any water shoes and didn’t have time to go shopping,  so I made due with pair of shoes I owned.  However, they kept sliding off in the water!  But the great part about my new Chacos sandals is that they are built for dealing with any type of landscape.  So I can take a hike, take a swim, or even play a game of capture the flag; all-the-while wearing my Chacos with ease this year.
