5 Reasons Why You Should Try BRAVO! Cucina Italiana

Try Bravo

Our family was provided a complimentary meal at BRAVO! Cucina Italiana in order to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

One of the best things about vacation is not having to cook meals for a week (or clean up afterwards), am I right?! On our recent vacation to Florida we tried out a number of new restaurants including an AMAZING Italian place I want to tell you about today, BRAVO! Cucina Italiana! Here are 5 reasons why you should check it out!

The Drinks Are Devine

BRAVO! Cucina Italiana was actually our very first stop when we pulled into Orlando (after a 14 hour drive in the car, stopping halfway overnight). When we arrived we’d been on the road that day for 8 long hours (not counting stops) with our 4 kids. We were exhausted and so ready to relax.  I ordered a Peach Bellini (made with peach nectar, peach schnapps, and prosecco and served frozen), one of Italy’s most popular cocktails, and it was AMAZING! My husband ordered their “Old Fashioned” and he said he really enjoyed his as well. It was exactly what we needed at the end of a long day!

The Appetizers are Delicious

We started our meal with their brand new Antipasti Salad (crisp and refreshing), followed by Chicken, Spinach + Bacon Flatbread and Crispy Shrimp Napoli.  I could have made a meal out of the Chicken, Spinash + Bacon Flatbread alone. It was soooo tasty! I’m not really a huge seafood lover (that’s my husband) but I tried the Crispy Shrimp Napoli and even liked that too. My husband said they were some of the best shrimp he’s had. Oh, and I can’t forget the house bread they brought to the table. It comes with oil for dipping. The kids who aren’t always willing to try new things were happy to see some bread on the table to snack on while they waited for their meals.

They Are Great With Kids

We have 4 young children so sometimes dining out can be a little tough. They are really great kids but after sitting for a little while, kids get bored. They also aren’t always thrilled with the menu options at some of the restaurants my husband and I enjoy. From start to finish, we had a great experience with our kids at BRAVO! Cucina Italiana. Our waitress was so friendly with our little ones. They had kid’s menus that had activities on them and once my kids were bored with that she showed them that the paper lining on top of the table could be colored on too (much to their delight!).

After we placed our orders she brought an extra special treat to the table — fresh dough for the kids! It was pizza dough and she let my kids mold and shape it into whatever they wanted. My son made a sword with his and both of our girls made pancakes with theirs. As our waitress dropped off our meals she picked up their formed dough. After finishing their meals, the dough was brought back to the table; the chef had cooked it into a special dessert for them!

Oh and their meals — the kids LOVED them. I’ve never seen my son eat so much pizza before in his life. He devoured his meal with a huge smile on his face the whole time. My girls liked their dishes too. I was really impressed with the amount of food they received for the cost; the portion sizes were very generous.

The Meals Are Incredible

Italian food is my favorite. If I’m picking a place to eat back home there’s a good chance it’s Olive Garden. Well let me tell you, Olive Garden has NOTHING on this place. I really wish we had BRAVO! Cucina Italiana in our area because I would be eating there all the time. My husband ordered the Lobster Ravioli Alla Vodka, which features sautéed shrimp, tomato cream sauce, and pesto bread crumbs. I ordered the Pasta BRAVO!, their signature dish that has grilled chicken, mushrooms, rigatoni, and roasted red pepper cream sauce. We both thoroughly enjoyed our main dishes. The portions were huge, so we had a lot of leftovers to take back to our hotel for later. I can’t say enough great things about our dishes.

The Desserts are Divine

We finished up our meal with the new Cookie Butter Blondie. It was so rich and oh so delicious! We all shared it together and it was the perfect way to end our meal!

From beginning to end we really enjoyed our meal at BRAVO! Cucina Italiana. Everyone left happy and full. We are looking forward to our next dining experience at BRAVO!. It will be a regular stop now on our future vacations to Orlando! If you have one near you or you’ll be visiting Orlando in the near future, make sure you stop in and check out their delicious menu!

The drinks and food sound tasty. However, I am very impressed the Waitress was so attentive to your children and keeping them entertained.

Oh sounds so good - I wish there was one in my area for me to bring my grandchildren to. It is so nice to have a family friendly recipe that also has good food for the adults.
