Tommee Tippee 360 Sealer Diaper Disposal System

Most of you know that I use cloth diapers for my son. However, try as we might, we haven’t found a good solution in cloth for overnight. We always end up with leaks, which means my son wakes up early, and well, I LIKE my sleep. SO, Jacob sleeps in a disposable diaper every night–and I’m okay with that! What I’m not okay with are the urine-drenched diapers we end up with every morning that get thrown into our bathroom trashcan and quickly start stinking up the entire upstairs. So, when Tommee Tippee offered to let me review their new 360 Sealer Diaper Disposal System (free of charge to facilitate this review) I couldn’t pass up the chance!

Here is a description (provided by Tommee Tippee) of this disposal system:

Specially designed to help make diaper disposal quick, easy and less smelly, the Tommee Tippee 360° Sealer Diaper Disposal System – One Refill individually seals each diaper so odor locks in and doesn’t seep out – even when it’s time to empty the bin. This diaper disposal system is easy to set up, easy to use and easy to empty to help you seal diapers in seconds.

  • Drop-in design seals diapers with a twist of the dial
  • Super Seal technology seals the diaper all the way around to help lock in odor
  • EasiSlide drawer and quick-tear film allow simple and hassle-free emptying
  • Film is treated with Biomaster antibacterial protection to help control odor
  • Pail comes fully assembled and holds up to 30 newborn-size diapers
  • Included refill seals up to 100 diapers
  • Exclusively at Babies’R’Us

What’s Included

  • Pail
  • Refill
When the disposal system arrived, I couldn’t wait to break it out and give it a try! The system is fully assembled except for the pail refill. I’ll admit that when I took out the pieces I was a little intimidated by the piece that holds the plastic film. It looked complicated. However, my fears were in vain because the instructions were clear, easy to follow, and really very simple. I had the disposal set up and ready to use in under 5 minutes.
Once you have the system assembled, it’s time to fill it with diapers. You’ll open the top lid, drop the diaper in, then just turn the dial on the front until it clicks. Occasionally if we have a REALLY full diaper I have to make sure it is pushed down far enough to catch the rollers, but generally just dropping it in is sufficient. The 360 Sealer will pull this diaper in, seal it tightly, and drop it into the bin.
The film is similar to the press and seal type of kitchen plastic wrap. It literally seals your diapers 360 degrees! When your pail is full, just rip or cut after the last diaper. Then, make sure you have about an inch of film pressed together at the bottom, and you are ready to start filling it with more diapers.
Overall, I”m extremely impressed with the Tommee Tippee 360 Sealer Diaper Disposal System. It is easy to use and most importantly, you can not smell even a HINT of dirty diaper in my son’s room (and yes, he has managed to go #2 in some of his diapers too). His room smells clean, fresh, and now my bathroom does too!

  1. I would love to try their sippy cups-my daughter is having a hard time finding one she likes! I used Tommee Tippee bottles exclusively when she was younger-I HIGHLY recommend them.

  2. I love the cups! My daughter is having a hard time giving up her bottle at night…so I’ve been through many different styles of cups.
