Fall will be here quicker than I’d like to admit. While I embrace the start of a new football season, I dread that the cold weather is just around the corner. It has been unseasonably cold the past few nights, and I’ve come to the realization that it’s time to work on getting my children’s fall wardrobe into their closets. Every time I do this (and now, with 2 kids, I have to do it twice) I pull things out of their closets and think, “gosh, they only wore this a handful of times.” Apparently, I’m not the only mother who has felt discouraged while going through her children’s clothing. Let me introduce you to Katerina, the owner and created of wearhop.
Katerina’s inspiration for wearhop came from her 3-year-old daughter, or more exactly, from her closet filled with dresses, tutus, and tops in a rainbow of colors. Every season she would go through buying her new clothes and putting away old clothes that still looked new, but no longer fit, destined to collect dust in her basement. (Sound familiar?) And so, wearhop was born!
Wearhop is a new environmentally-friendly company that helps busy parents create stylish, clutter-free wardrobes for kids ages one to five. They carry a hand-picked collection of styles from top brands that parents can rent for special occasions or for a whole season. The goal of wearshop is to help parents save money on kids clothes from top brands, to give parents a new way to dress kids without having to buy and store away clothes every season, and also to promote sustainable fashion for kids!
